A basic refresh starts around S/ 950 in labour and minor items, excluding materials. A full remodel, with tiling, cabinetry and new services, is quoted line by line after a free site visit. 02How long does a kitchen remodel take?
A refresh of the finishes takes a few days. A full remodel, with strip-out, new services, tiling and cabinetry, is measured in weeks rather than months. The quote comes with a written schedule, and we phase the work so you get your kitchen back as soon as possible.
03Do I need a municipal permit to remodel the kitchen?
In most cases, no. Renewing finishes, tiling, cabinetry, taps or lighting without touching structural walls counts as refurbishment and is exempt from a building permit under article 9 of Law 29090. If the project involves taking down a wall to open the kitchen into the living room, we first check whether it is load-bearing and walk you through what your municipality asks for before anything starts.
04Who does the gas installation?
Connecting or altering a gas installation has to be carried out by a licensed installer. We coordinate it inside the project so the kitchen is handed over working: gas point, electrical points for the extractor and oven, and final testing. It is all recorded in the handover document.
05Do your crews speak English?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. Our crews work in Spanish on site. What is handled in English is everything you need to understand: the quote, the scope, any change, the schedule and the warranty, all of it in writing. You can write to us in English on WhatsApp at any time, and when something has to be settled on site there and then, we get your point of contact on the phone with the crew. You never have to negotiate in Spanish.
